We Are Digital Leaders

Hi, our names are Olivia, Georgia, Thomas and Elliot and we are the Digital Leaders at Spring Cottage Primary School.

This is our first post and we're going to show you some things we have done over the past couple of weeks. Plus we have two guest who are iPod monitors in our school, who might also post blogs.

The Digital Leaders made posters on an app called Strip Designer, which is an app on the iPad that can make comics or posters. The posters are displayed around the school. We made these to tell people were to come if they need help with ICT issues.

These are our posters of Digital Leaders:

Our aims are:

  • To help staff and children with ICT
  • To offer advice on how to stay safe on the internet
  • Share all of ideas on the blog.
  • Offer advice on e-Safety and how to keep safe online.

  1. Wow! I love your posters! They look wonderful! It would be great if you could share them on the digital leader network blog - I think they will inspire other digital leaders to do the same! (I'm going to show them to my digital leaders!)

  2. Hello Digital Leaders,

The posters look great. They're bright and colourful, a necessary way to catch the attention of passers by. I think your stated aims also show why you are good Digital Leaders.

Having been an adult digital leader for many years while I was teaching, I know how rewarding it can be to help others. So much has changed since I first used computers in class in 1981. It's people like you who carry on the tradition of sharing our skills and knowledge. Well done!

  3. Hello Digital Leaders
I am so impressed with your superb film and your cheerful posters. They really tell everyone what your job in the school is. I will definitely be showing them to my Infant Digital Leaders.I'm sure they would love to make some themselves. Unfortunately we don't have ipads so we will have to think of the best way to make some using our laptops. Do you have any good ideas?
Good luck with your DL work.
